What Type of Author Are We Looking For at Sirens Call Publications?

Sirens Call Publications fervently believes in the gift of a brilliant work of fiction and we're always on the lookout for talent. If you show us creativity, originality and a desire to share the stories you spin, then we want to help you succeed in the publishing world.

Sirens Call Publications has very few restrictions. We are open to publishing and promoting most genres and styles of writing. If our submission guidelines are adhered to and your story leaps off the page and ignites our imaginations, then it may very well find a home here at Sirens Call Publications. You weave the tale and we'll do all we can to make it a success.

What We Will NOT Publish at Sirens Call Publications:
It is our policy at Sirens Call Publications not to publish any material containing pornographic bestiality; incestuous behavior; underage or non-consensual sexual content; and *overt explicit sexual content not integral to either the essence of a character or the story line itself.

We are not interested in rough copy that requires ghost writing. If your piece is not in a quasi-finished state, you may feel free to contact our publicist directly to inquire about retaining a ghost writer. We'd be happy to recommend one that may suit your needs.

Other than these few restrictions, Sirens Call Publications welcomes submissions from both new and established authors alike.

*this restriction does not apply to submissions under any erotica genre

The People Behind Sirens Call Publications

Julianne Snow
Administrative/Publicity Coordinator/Co-Owner
Working behind the scenes for quite some time, Julianne has stepped out of the shadows and into the spotlight as Publicist at SCP. Passionate about the Indie publishing scene, she works diligently to spread the word about the works published by Sirens Call Publications, as well as other authors and presses.

It was while watching Romero's Night of the Living Dead at the tender age of 6 which solidified Julianne’s respect for the Undead. Since that day, she has been preparing herself for the (inevitable) Zombie Apocalypse. While classically trained in all of the ways to defend herself, she took up writing in order to process the desire she now covets. As the author of the acclaimed Days with the Undead series, Julianne uses her words as weapons to bestow a second and final death upon them all.

If you would like to interview one of our authors, review one of our books, or participate in an upcoming blog tour, please contact Julianne.

Nina D'Arcangela
Administrative/Social Media Coordinator/Co-Owner
Our dark angel is SCP's resident Social Media anarchist. Don't be surprised to find her lurking in your favorite digital zone, or stalking you on twitter or facebook. She's mostly harmless - we promise.

Outside her involvement with Sirens Call Publications, Nina is a freelance photographer with a passion for graveyards, abandoned places, and all things reclaimed by nature. A co-founder of the horror writer's group, Pen of the Damned, Nina writes soul-rending snippets of horror and despair, reads anything from splatter to dark matter, is an avid science geek, and a self proclaimed fun, flirty, narcissistic little imp.

If you have questions regarding our Facebook, Twitter, or other social media accounts, give her a shout. You can find her at:

Lee A. Forman
Lee Forman is a fiction writer from Hudson Valley, NY. His fascination with the macabre began in childhood, watching old movies and reading everything he could get his hands on. He’s a third generation horror fanatic, starting with his grandfather who was a fan of the classic Hollywood Monsters. His work has been published in horror magazines, anthologies, and aired on podcasts. When he’s not crafting horrifying creatures and tales of terror, he spends his time playing guitar and writing music.

Erin Morrissey
Erin is a fiction writer who typically hides from her monsters under the alias Lydia Prime. She lives in Bergen County, NJ and when she's not writing about nightmares, or editing someone else's, she works at a comedy club. She's fascinated by things all together "ooky" but loves to laugh, especially about horribly ghoulish things that others might not necessarily understand.

Stacey Turner
Stacey Turner lives in West Central Illinois with her husband. She is the editor of several anthologies, as well as many novels & novellas for a variety of authors. Her writing has also been published in multiple anthologies and online magazines.

While Stacey spends her days writing and editing, she still finds time to review books & interview authors, as well as blog about her absolutely ridiculous family and other adventures. When not working, she enjoys photographing cemeteries, playing "what if," and discussing the imminent zombie apocalypse. She does not enjoy scarecrows, creepy dolls, birds (of any sort), snakes, clowns, or garden gnomes. Three wonderful, adult children call her "Mom," and three beautiful little boys call her "Mimi" (Grandma). She is owned by cats.
